What you need-
~A plain white mug, which you can get from any store, mine cost just 75p!
~Some paint markers, you can pick these up from any arts and crafts store.
Little tip- make sure that your pens are suitable to write on stone, glass, china etc before you buy them and that the colour won't wash off or smudge.
You can do any design you would like, My whole family loves drinking hot chocolate by the fire on Christmas so mine really worked with that. 'Mmm... HoHoHot Cocoa' I also wrote the name of who's mug it was on the back so they always know it's theirs. Of course you can buy a Christmas mug already done from the store but I think doing it yourself really shows the time and effort, plus thought you have put in. I know what your thinking, I'm doing a post on DIY Christmas mugs two days before Christmas, but trust me it really can be done, I just decorated 14 of them and now I'm done and they look great. I can't wait to drink hot cocoa from them this year with my family. If any of you do try this then please send me a picture, I would love to see them.
Optional- you can also add a little something extra to your mugs, marshmallows, hot-chocolate, movies, popcorn and a little basket for a cute cozy gift for a friend, maybe even family.
