Hey dolls, so my sister is doing my hair while we listen to the legend that is Bon Jovi and it hit me that I haven't blogged in forever so I thought I'd use this opportunity to share with you the liquid lipstick products I have and if they really are worth the hype. Well lets start by saying that YES THEY ARE WORTH THE HYPE, I mean I'm sorry but I cant get enough. I am a huge lippy lover and my makeup just isn't complete without it and I am matte obsessed, any matte lip products and I'm there. I've found that liquid lipsticks are so much better than ordinary lipsticks as you get the best of both worlds because they are super easy to apply as they go on like a wet lip gloss but dry so matte that you could wipe your mouth and they would not move. I am so in love with liquid lipsticks and especially nudey pinky colours as they are my absolute favourite. I own four liquid lipsticks in total and I got them all for Christmas, they made me so happy like I nearly cried, girl you have to try them, absolute god sends. Hold up I'm not done yet because you know I love a good review and I'm going to review each of my liquid lipsticks for you and all the info on them, aren't you a lucky thing.
I'm going to start with the two most affordable, at only £5.50 each you would be crazy not to try them for yourself. They are both soft matte lip cream by NYX cosmetics and you can get them online from Selfridges. The first nude pink is called 'Abu Dhabi' and it is my holy grail, I literally wear it everyday to college as isn't too much and really beautifully natural. The application is really creamy but not very thick or rich so you do have to apply it twice but what do you expect for £5.50, I want 10! The second product 'Transylvania' is a dark purple colour which I find is too much for an everyday lip but definitely perfect for complementing a dramatic night look. One thing I don't like about Transylvania is that it isn't very thick so you have to keep applying it.

The next liquid lipstick is mid range.Dose of Colors in 'truffle' is such a gorgeous rich colour that you don't even need to line your lip because it's so thick and creamy that it goes on perfectly. I find that this liquid lipstick makes your lip look more plump also as it is quite a brownish nude and I'm constantly getting asked what lip product I'm wearing when I wear this, it is a definite must however it is more on the pricey side at $18 on their website or around the £25 mark on eBay. Oh and it literally smells like truffle chocolates, lipstick that goes on as a gloss, dries matte and smells of Chocolate, what more could a girl want?
I've saved the best till last, of course its my babe Anastasia Beverly Hills 'Veronica'. I have been longing to get my hands on Veronica for what feels like forever but it's been no where to be seen as Anastasia has stopped doing this colour so my absolutely lovely boyfriend got me it for Christmas, god knows where and how but I know you can get them on eBay but for such an expensive price I could throw up. Anyway, this product, like all of ABH must had been sent from heavens because it is perfect. Veronica is more of a plum colour, it was darker than expected by I still cant get enough, the application is so creamy and thick that it goes on wet but then dries matte so that it isn't going no where.
